Lacrosse officials in Maine can earn upwards of $50/hour for their services.

ABOUT MLOA

The Maine Lacrosse Officials Association provides officials for boy’s Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School programs. MLOA members also officiate at the collegiate level. The growth of Lacrosse in the State of Maine has been rapid in the last ten years and continues to grow. 

MLOA has over 90 officials. The recent development of youth programs throughout the State has given MLOA the opportunity to assist with the training of community members to officiate youth lacrosse.

The goals of MLOA are:

  • To instruct and educate players, coaches, parents, and fans of the sport of lacrosse and the rules governing play
  • To train, educate, and certify persons for officiating the sport of boy’s lacrosse
  • To promote the growth and development of the sport of lacrosse in the State of Maine

Maine Lacrosse Officials Association endures to officiate at the highest level while promoting good sportsmanship through players, coaches, parents and fans.
